Welcome to my life, hang out for a while!
Hello! My name is Nate, born and raised in Iowa and now pursuing a PhD in mechanical engineering at UC Berkeley. I’ve worked on a wide range of research projects, both here and at the University of Iowa, and the common thread is that they’re all focused on reducing the negative impacts of climate change. I’m currently working on clean hydrogen production by methane pyrolysis, as well as high-temperature thermal energy storage. It’s fun stuff, and the hope is that I can further this work to have a direct impact on the world in the near future! When I’m not working, I look for fun ways to experience what the world has to offer, and I show off that part of myself here as well. Look around, message me if you have thoughts, comments, or questions, and have a great day!
