I spent my summer after high school working on the production line at the Nordstrom fulfillment center in Cedar Rapids, packing boxes for their online orders. It was a summer of weird hours and many cardboard cuts.

I spent my summer after middle school working in cornfields around Eastern Iowa. I spent every day walking up and down rows of corn and pulling tassels off of the top in order to improve the fertilization process for hybrid corn.
